Steak is fancy and you know it, and this one? The fanciest. Very simple to prepare and delicious. Not the cheapest but perfect for a date you really want to impress (blink, blink).
INGREDIENTS
NY Strip Steak
Gorgonzola Crumbs
Heavy Cream
Corn Flour
Salt
Pepper
Shitake Mushrooms
Broccoli
Olive Oil
White Wine
STEP BY STEP
1. First we'll do the sauce. In a pot add some white wine and heat it up for a couple of minutes to evaporate the alcohol.
2. Add the gorgonzola crumbs and let it melt well. Stir all the time.
3. Add the heavy cream and keep stiring.
4. Add a little bit of corn flour. Stir well and cook it for 5 minutes in low heat.
5. Add salt and pepper to the steak.
6. Now let's prepare the veggies and the steak at the same time. In two pans add olive oil and heat them up.
7. Add the veggies in the pan and cook them well. Add a little bit of white wine when almost done. Add the steak to the pan and cook it the way you want it done. Add a little bit of wine too.
8. Now put everything on a plate and add the sauce on top of the steak. Eat!
Enjoy this one as much as you can, it's awesome! You don't eat steak everyday. Your date will be very happy.
