Oh yeah baby! Jambalaya! A spicy southern classic. My recipe is a little different but I keep the essence intact. You will love it!
INGREDIENTS
Rice
Chicken
Shrimp
Andouille Sausage
Onion
Garlic
Tomato
Red Pepper
Green Pepper
Paprika
Cajun Spices
Pepper
Salt
Chicken Bouillon
Olive oil
STEP BY STEP
1. In a frying pan add some olive oil and fry some chopped garlic and onion until brown.
2. Add the chicken, the andouille sausage and the shrimp and cook them well.
3. Add the chopped tomato, red pepper and green pepper.
4. Once the veggies are well done, add the rice and cook it for 5 minutes with everything.
5. Add the water. 2 cups per 1 of rice.
6. Add the chicken bouillon, the salt and pepper. Stir well.
7. Add the paprika and the cajun spices, as much as you want. Stir well.
8. Cook it in low heat until the rice is tender or the water is gone.
I love this meal man, it is spicy but nothing everybody can handle. It's not hard to do although it looks like it is. Challenge yourself Rookie Chef and enjoy!

Pimiento Rojo
Pimiento Verde
Pimentón
Especias Cajún
Pimienta

Avecren de pollo

PASO A PASO
1. En una sartén añade aceite de oliva y dora bien ajo y cebolla picaditos.
2. Añade el pollo, la salchicha y las gambas y dóralo todo bien.
3. Añade las verduras picaditas.
4. Una vez estén hechas las verduras añade el arroz y cocínalo 5 minutos con todo.
5. Añade el agua. 2 de agua por 1 de arroz.
6. Añade el avecren, la sal y la pimienta. Revuelve bien.
7. Añade el pimentón y las especias sureñas, tanto cómo te guste.
8. Cocínalo a fuego lento hasta que el arroz esté tierno o se quedé sin agua.
Me encanta este plato chaval. Es picante pero nada que todo el mundo pueda soportar. No es dificil de hacer aunque lo parezca. Rétate a ti mismo Rookie Chef y disfruta.
