I know it is sweet and it is a dessert...but they are freaking awesome!!! This is a typical dessert in Galicia's carnival and although it is pretty similar to a crepè, it has a huge different...these are much better. It is simple to prepare and just a little time consuming to make them. You should try them with hot chocolate or cream or with wild fruits ir with custard...
INGREDIENTS
4 eggs
Salt (just a liiiiiiittle bit)
0.25l of milk
0.25l of water
1 tea spoon of ground cinnamon
300g of flour
90g of sugar
A little load of Anisette
1 strip of bacon
STEP BY STEP
1. In a big bowl beat the 4 eggs and a little bit of salt.
2. Add the milk, the water and the cinnamon. Stir well.
3. Add the flour and the sugar. Use a mixer to mix everything well.
4. Add the anisette...if you add too much it would taste too much to anisette and they won't be that good.
5. Put a pan in medium heat.
6. Use a strip of bacon to grease the pan. You will do this eeeeeeeevery time you make one.
7. With a serving spoon add just enough dough to cover the bottom of the pan.
8. In just a few seconds turn it to the other side.
9. Stack them on a plate.
You won't stop eating these things! I could eat a 100 everyday...but I would probably die. Hope you like them!
