The classic potato omelet from Spain at your own kitchen brotha! This is soooooo easy to do that you won´t stop doing it! You can do the basic one but we recommend that you try adding different things once in a while, like chorizo, tuna or peppers.
INGREDIENTS
Potatoes
Eggs
Olive oil
Salt
OPTIONAL (Not at the same time)
Chorizo
Tuna
Peppers
STEP BY STEP
1. Cut the potatoes in little pieces, not tiny.
2. In a frying pan fry the potatoes for a little bit, don´t fry them completely.
3. Put the potatoes in a bowl and add beaten egg until it almost covers the potatoes. Add salt.
4. In a frying pan add some olive oil, not much.
5. Once it´s hot add the mix and let it cook for about 5-8 minutes or until you see that the bottom is a little bit golden.
6. Now, the tricky part, get a plate as big or a little bit bigger than the frying pan and cover the pan with it. Then, with a quick move, turn the tortilla upside down to leave the bottom of it facing up on the plate. Right away put it back in the frying pan with care and remember that the cooked saide of it has to be facing up.
7. Let it cook for 5 minutes and serve it in a plate.
Once you learn how to flip the tortilla...done, you are the boss. And one more advice, ask for Galician potatoes to do the tortilla, they are the best (Sorry Idaho).
INGREDIENTES
Patatas
Huevos
Aceite de oliva
Sal
OPCIONAL (No al mismo tiempo)
Chorizo
Atún
Pimientos
PASO A PASO
